Just an FYI that I will be on CNBC Power Lunch tomorrow to talk with the anchors about what to expect out of the G20 meetings this weekend where Trump, Putin, and Xi will all collide. Will be fun for me to work with Bill Griffith again. We have worked together since the early 1980’s when CNBC was still called FNN. Wonderful guy and an excellent journalist.
The G20 meetings, however, won’t be so wonderful. The Cameras will be on the heads of state, of course, but there are important topics to discuss as well including the worsening trade war, slowing global growth, and the growing friction between the US and China over the rollout of 5G communications networks around the world. And all this happening in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires where there is serious unrest between the rich and poor supporters of the 2 BA football teams.
